Keep in mind that you can typically enjoy wine tastings throughout the whole year but picking the right grapes, drying the grapes, and then pressing them is a very different process than what is done in a wine cellar.

Many wineries only release certain varieties of wine at certain times so don’t think you can just pick any grapes. You might end up getting a bad-tasting wine and you certainly don’t want that to happen while you’re trying to enjoy wine with friends and family.
